CONFORMATION TRAINING

Conformation training is an essential part of

                  building a "Show Dog."

   First we must have a dog that was professionally bred by an experienced breeder that

specializes in your specific breed that strives to improve that breeds standard.

   Next we must have an experienced dog trainer. Your dog trainer should be experienced in not only training your dog for "show" but to also be experienced in "handling" your dog in show ring. There are many steps in properly developing a top quality dog in the show ring.

   And last but importantly your show dog prospect must have a devoted dog owner. Owning

a show dog is a big responsibility. There are many factors involved ranging from traveling expenses, training equipment and show gear to professional grooming and helping in keeping your show dog in tip top shape and perfect condition right down to the pearly whites!

   Put all of these elements together and you and your new show dog prospect are now ready to compete in the show world as a "team." Your dog will become an expert and strut his stuff down many show runners, meet many new friends and not only impress but touch many hearts and judges.

   Remember that showing your dog is a learning experience and a journey for all involved. Keep your show dog in only the best experienced heart filled hands and you and your dog will be standing in the winners circle!
